We went to London in June and this is what we ate.
Love Shack
We arrived late in London the first day, but Love Shack was really close to our hotel. So fortunately we got there before the kitchen closed. We ordered smoked jackfruit tacos and buffalo wings. So flavourful and spicy. I give the place 8/10.
The Gallery Cafe
The next day we went for breakfast at The Gallery Cafe, which also was close to our hotel. We ordered tofu benny, kimchi toastie and strawberry donut. The donut was 10/10, but I give the rest of the food 5/10. The tofu benny had plain tofu with sauce. I wished the tofu had some spices, so the dish would taste more. I don't like kimchi, so I just tasted and wasn't a fan. Btw it was accessible for wheelchair.
Unity Diner
For dinner we went to Unity Diner, which is Eartling Ed's non profit restaurant. If you are in London you really need to go there! The place had so nice interior og good service. And the food didn't disappoint. We ordered tofish and chips and vegan cod. The vegan cod was good, but the portion was small. The vegan fish and chips was unbelievable. I ony wished it was more peas. For dessert we had creme brulee. I have never liked it, but I have never tried a vegan version. So I wanted to try that when I had the opportunity. It was good, but I'm still not a big fan. Overall 8/10.
Hi Thai Vegan
For dinner the next day I ordered sushi from Hi Thai Vegan. I had one with vegan salmon, one with vegan tuna and one with vegan prawn. It was good, but a bit plain so I wished there was some dressing. 7/10.
Mildred's
On our last day we went for breakfast at Mildred's at Covent garden. The food was very pricy and the service was bad. We ordered triple stack of pancakes with bacon and a side of sausage. I chose the berry vanilla flavour. We also ordered noodles, which I thought tasted weird and I didn't like them. First they forgot to bring my third pancake, and only gave me two at first. Then they forgot to bring our drinks. We got our food before our drinks, so we had to ask them to bring them. We needed to remind them as they had forgotten what we ordered. Also they forgot to get me cream for the pancakes, so I had to remind them to get it for me. Some of the staff were also rude. The pancakes was thick, but very compact and got stuck to the roof of my mouth when I chewed. I wished there were more berries, as it was a lot of pancake. It was very dissapointing and I don't recommend going there. We expected better service and food when it was so expensive. 3/10
